Well, maybe not by name, but by reputation anyway.

My father in law lives in St. Joe.  When I showed him my "stash" (too small for a "whack") he asked me if I had it dried in Rushville.  I told him no, I did it myself.  He replied, "I guess that guy in Rushville is really good".

You gotta figure its something, coming from a guy who doesn't know a 2x4 from a pipe wrench.  I'm impressed.

Keep up the good work...and I really will get up there someday.  I've just been too busy.  Heck, I can't even get over to Sawwood's house, and he's only 10 miles away.

So many trees, so little money, even less time.

Word of mouth, best kind of advertising!
Selling hardwood lumber, doing some sawing and drying, growing the next generation of trees and enjoying the kids and grandkids.

Becoming famous in the Rushville wood industry was pretty easy but sometimes it is more trouble than it is worth as I receive a lot of phone calls.  Also have to be extra polite to little old ladies now that I am a celebrity. ;D

Sure wish I could figure out how to become RICH and famous as that sounds like a lot more fun. :)
