I've seen that before, notice the wings it sports behind the front axle that permit the climb to be completed and the wings on the stabilizers.

Anyone here wanna try with their old junker hoe that leaks down badly :D :D

SwampDonkey

Ok, now where's the picture of the guy when he rolled it over on the cab after he brought the wings up? ;)

None-the-less is quite impressive machine handling. :)

cheers

Very impressive, but where are the pictures of him bringing it back down?  ???

Timber_Framer

I've seen backhoes loaded in rail cars before and was always curious how they did it! Wow!

Can you imagine being a rookie trying that for the first time? :o

The way I handle equipment, the first try would be the last.  :D
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!

just another beaver with a chainsaw &  it's never so bad that it couldn't get worse.

Actually, that's a 426C Cat.  about 80+ hp.   Herzog only uses 426s for some reason.... though I guess they'll use 430's now that the 426 has been discontinued.

Nope, no chance!!!  :o
Did get the truck stuck over in the field, a week ago Friday.
Had a 1500# log on the trailer, hooked to the truck.
Towed them down the field with backhoe.
I think all the neighbors were watching and laughing.
Note to self: Don't try to haul logs in the rain!  :-/

Erick

Thats DanG impressive!!!! Heck I'm lucky if I get one one the trailer stright and its got ramps. ;D  hope they dont forget and leave it up their that would be real bad when they got to a tunnel. :D
It's better to have it and not need it. Then to need it and not have it.

They have been using this technique for the last few years for operations where they have to unload rail cars at wreck sites. cars still right side up need to be unloaded so off they go...

I've got a 416c and it weighs in at just over 14000 lbs I'd be shaking loading it up there......

Jeff

I have read about and seen series of pictures before on these. These machines are of special design and are built to do what they do. They are not you everyday back hoe. You can bet if you tied it without such the results would not be the same.

JCB has a specialty advertising group they call the "JCB Dancing Diggers" that travel around promoting their backhoes.

They are quite amazing to see. They do choreographed 'dancing' with 20k # backhoes.

I don't think I'll try this with mine yet, at least not on purpose.

I want to know how much the guy that drives UNDER them gets paid?

 :o

I just wanna know how much beer it took to think of loading theat backhoe that way the first time ;D
