i have an old glenwwood cookstove that i cant possibly hook to a chimney, and am wondering of any gas inserts i may be able to use for heating it instead of wood. i figger there has to be some folks that like cooking on these, but for some reason or another, dont use wood
im really gunna miss splitting all that wood.::)

im not sure where to start even looking for one but here. i have seen new replicas of antique stoves in lehmans, running on gas. if i could hook it to a chimney, i would, so it has to vent without a chimney. id also install another chimney if it was cost effective, but as of now i need to run around 22 feet of flue, for a stove that may not be used for days on end.

thanks for the help!

Most of the web sites I've found only do the conversions themselves and they're pretty DanG proud of their work.

Good luck
