Going up to western Massachusetts this weekend for a few days fishing.  I'll be in the area until Friday.  Any members in the area who'd like to show off their mills?  I'd really like to see 'em!

Nomad, Welcome to the Berkshires. Where are you staying and fishing? I am just a logger, don't have a mill but one is on my wish list.

I'm on the South end. 9 miles from exit 1 on the Pike.

We dont have a saw mill but stop by the little lantern sugar shack in Blandford on rt 23 for some syrup. Can leave some or might be around. Have a safe & fun trip.

I'll be staying in Lenox.  I'm bringing my canoe and will be fishing some of the smaller lakes and ponds.  I grew up in that area, so I know my way around pretty well.

Nomad, if you are from that area, do you know Peru near Pittsfield? Spent a year thre in the 1970's. Beautiful place when the glaciers recede in spring. :D
After freezing my buns off, decided it was no place for a southern boy, becides they all talk funny there.
Old doesn't bother me, its the ugly that's a real bummer.

Thursday night at 6 pm I'm suppose to be at Heartwood school in Becket.

Hopefully the car is fixed by then.

I was in the area back during the 3rd week of April doing the same thing...fishing.  But.....on the other side of the CT/MA border.  Was fishing the Farmington River down in the Riverton area.  GOOD TROUT fishing!

Jim, what are you doing there?  Hope your car is fixed too.  It would be a long walk for you.

I visit the Heartwood school every timber framing class to offer our tools for sale to their students. And visit with them for a short while.
Thursday night is "cook out" night. The school feeds the group supper. Normally they do pizza in their outside pizza oven. And then sit around the camp fire and sing songs and enjoy the evening.

I am meeting one customer there who is going to pick up some tools from me as he is local to the school, and wants to save shipping charges.

Had a nice visit with nomad this morning. Probably the largest meeting of Wood Mizer Wireless owners to date. :D
