Has anyone installed one lately? If so what are you using? I would like to set at 1" and have a display to show how high head is. I am thinking display and sensor on head. I read the old posts where some bought them from Grizzly. Any other good place to find them.

I put one of the Grizzly ones on my mill. Biggest problem is you can't let it get wet. I can only mill on sunny days now . ;D ;D  Look for a weatherproof one if you can find one.  :)
Hudson HFE-21 on a custom trailer, Deere 4100, Kubota BX 2360, Echo CS590 & CS310, home built wood splitter, home built log arch, a logrite cant hook and a bread machine. And a Kubota Sidekick with a Defective Subaru motor.

I would add to 21's comment: also don't let it get cold. I bought one from Eagle America (not a Grizzly - don't remember the brand) and it worked great for maybe 2 years then the winters got to it. Brought it in the house and the reading was stable - took it back outdoors and reading was erratic. Gave it to a friend with a heated shop. Do a search on DRO in the FF.

Tacks, remember simplicity is a beautiful thing. Sawmills lead a tough life especially out in the weather and electronics and their accessories can and will bring problems. Frank C.

I had a TK and really liked the display. I was hoping to find a FF member with a good dependable DRO, did I say low cost would would be nice? As it is now I will upgrade my scale.
