How do you add a picture to your profile?

First it needs to be no more then 120 pixles WIDE and optimized for file size so it does not slow the pages for the guys with dial up. It needs to be uploaded to our server. Use the upload button you will find when you post.

Putting a user pic on is different then posting a picture as you dont need the accompanying code, only the address of the picture.

Once you upload, simply right click on the picture once you see it, and then click properties, you will see the address (url).

Highlight and copy it so you can be ready to paste it.

Click on the profile button. Look for the spot where it says:
I have my own pic:

check the box and paste your address. My address for my current picture for example is:
https://forestryforum.com/images/03_21_04/jeff_cedar.jpg

You can always use something from the smilies folder such as deadheader has, or there is a list you can pick from such as the flags within the edit profile.

When you are done make SURE you go to the bottom and click change profile. Dont mistake it for delete user!!!
