Found this jewel 20 minutes from my house. She's been neglected for a while ever since the previous owner passed away in 2010. It was his wife that sold it to me and I'd consider it a "barn find". I had to haul my tractor there to drag it out and put it on the trailer. It's the first European machine I've found so far. An EMA RB-630. It's got four separate motors. A 12hp motor for the cutterhead, a 2.4 HP motor for the feed rollers, a 3/4hp motor for the table raise and lower, and a 1/2 HP motor on the knife grinder. Weighs somewhere around a ton and will plane almost 25" wide and 9" deep. Segmented infeed roller and chip breaker. That's all I needed was another project.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.
