Hi guys

I have Woodmizer LT20 mobile version with hydraulic support. What I really miss is 3 or maybe 4 hydraulic  pull down clams. Those clamps are needed when I sawmill spruce which can be between 25 and 30 ft long.

The original Woodmizer pull down clamps are very expensive here in Europe.

I was thinking if I could modified clamps like these bellow.

I am asking my self if hydraulic reservoir (tank) would have enough capacity for 3 additional cylinders, hoses etc?

What do you think?

If the cylinders have hoses at both ends then you should not need a
bigger tank. Any oil pushed in one side will be coming out the other
side and be returning back to the tank.

Do those actually "pull" down or do they just hold the log/cant down?
