I have access to a large amount of Cedar. It is in the form of Utility poles. Normally I am very cautious of poles, but these are large Hi-Line poles that are easy to clear of metal, larger diameter, and I can have any length.
My question is, what is the market for this cedar? It is already dry to about 16% and I can saw up to 12" wide.

Any thoughts on market and sales price????

Pretty much how I got started sawing power poles.  Sawed 2 mbf plus/day on a manual mill.

Treated WRC is great for decks...just remember it can't complete in the strength department with commercial treated SYP.  Check the price of the new ACQ stuff at the lumber yard and I'm sure you can figure out how to price it.
