Any info on this saw, please. Thanks

I know it has a bow blade on it, I need a name and year of manufacturer.

Fairbanks Morse is the nameplate in the picture.

Can you give us a pic of the complete saw? Check with Chain Saw Collectors Corner, probably the best source of information on old saws. It's better to post questions like this on the chainsaw board where more of us 2 stroke junkies hang out.

From what i can find Fairbanks Morse made the starters not the saws..?

any other markings?

Those bow bars used to be real popular with the loggers in East Texas, probably mainly for pulpwood.

Having owned saws from that era, all the info I have is, you had to be a pretty tough hombre to use one all day, day after day.
Old LT40HD, old log truck, old MM forklift, and several huskies.

the only saws i can find with a trigger like that ones are homelights ...

I'm stuck at a desk for the next 7 hours... more info for me to dig around the web with please.

and of the original paint left?
