My old Maori mate when he comes down to our stretch of river whitebaiting is always cleaning all the puha out for me, he brought over his boil up of pork bones and puha and it was very pleasant sitting by the river flapping our faces at each other and pigging out on the tucker while waiting for the whitebait.  Gee life is tough :)

Tammy has taught the kids to make pierogies.  Each one of them has a different job.  We'll make a 100 at a time and then it's good eatin for a few days! ;D

You have to love pierogies but do no forget to add chopped up bacon fried to a crisp on top.  Also you need to include those Pasties, I know you guys from the U.P. have to have ate some of those.  A meat-veggie pocket pie to go.  They make a great midday meal in the woods when hunting or working.
