Pine sap books?

Anyone know of any good books on the uses for and cultivation of pine sap?

From tapping trees, to processing it, to the many uses for it and all things pine related.

You may want to ask at a bushcraft site, bushcraft usa might be a good place to start.  They do a lot with birch tar....

I'd like to hear what you find, and find out. Several members of my family listed their occupation in the 1830 census as "turpentine"... Tarheels
