??? I'm just wondering if there is any band sawmills here in Alberta Canada. :P I've read a lot of posts and only seem to only see circle mills.Other that mine or a local friend that lives north of me 10 or 12 miles. His is a beaver band mill,Mine is a LM2000 Norwood's.So is there any band mills out here?
P.S. I just remembered I saw one east of Donnelly on the side of pavement.Iwas driving a rig (Peterbuilt ) pulling for a company and hauling material for oil rigs 24 hrs  7 days a week.I called a paid vacation, :D
I got to see the world through a windshield. From Slave Lake to Fort Mc kay all the way to Grand Prairie. And just about everywhere in between.Alot of off highway travels. That truck was home on wheels. ;).Now I'm retired so now I'm going to play with my little ol' LM2000 making lumber to make corral fences and what ever else needed.
So I'm saying I know of 3 band mills and 2 circle mills here Alberta

Welcome.
There's a bunch of us spread out over the Prairies, on all brands of Mills.
Sawmill Bandit is active on the forum but I'm sure there's some others lurking in Alberta besides him.
Hey, give the 'members map' tool a try. You'll find it on a banner near the top of the home page. It'll pull up a map that you can zoom into your part of Alberta -showing you who else is out there.
