I wandered down to the shop looking for something to ease the pain, seeing nothing else that came to mind I chucked up a small drill bit in the drill press and commenced to try to relieve my misery. Well, you know how when a bit punches through a piece of sheet metal and grabs? Somebody screamed bloody murder and when I quit stomping around there was a horizontal streak of blood across me and the shop and my poor thumbnail was happily spinning around on the drill bit. That didn't turn out too well! Wasn't much else to do but turn on the radio and hang out till daybreak when I could hang my head and wander up for a pot of coffee and a round of "what were you thinking!"
It amazes me how long it takes for a nail to regrow
