Ditto for Mr. C.  Wet snow, more wet snow. ~ 4" with plenty of stupid drivers out.
They forget "Mo" : even with snow tires and 4WD, Mr Mo won't prevent slipping and sliding.
Never dismiss stupidity on the road. :o

Snowmobiling doesn't exist in this immediate area!

We have gotten about 5-6 inches of snow at this time!

Still a little bit falling!

Chuck, any snow you had in your neck of the wood is melting into the Oswegatchie or Grass river.

Past couple days have been mostly rain free, though I think it may have misted a couple nights ago. Just to show I haven't been forgotten, it's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. Wouldn't want to go a week without rain or anything. That's crazy talk! Been warm; mid forties. This whole winter has been an extended fall. If it were August, it would be amazing, but I like winter when it's winter. Not looking good so far.

Snow ended before noon, all cleaned up for another round Saturday night into Sunday. We had barely 3" here in the 2 systems.

I wouldn't want to race across a field here just yet on a ski doo. You could still hit a hard piece of dirt from a furrow plow or a terrace ditch and go airborne. :D

Moving hay to the cows I am actually pushing water uphill with the Lull tires - the stuff has no place to go and of course it rained all day again today.

28F this morning, going to be a mild one. Gotta cut back on the firewood in feed. :) ;D

Maybe we missed January and February, hit mid March in mid stride. :D

I have 15░. That is cold to the ones on tv talking about the weather. :)
But suppose to warm up to almost 40░ and rain.
But you right about mid March. Maybe we had January temps back in November. :D The next 7 days don't show any temps in the singles numbers at all. :o  I am sure there are some coming. But if something don't happen pretty quick,we might of missed the only time it gets in the double digits is with a minus sign beside it for a whole week. Yes,it will dip down for a day or two,but I doubt for a week or two straight. But should not of been that cold in Novemeber either. Have not seen that for years. Guess we'll all know when May gets here. ;D

Finally it's not raining here today . 43 this morning and heading to upper 50's, but we'll bump almost 70 tomorrow.  Hopefully the ground will dry out a little, everything is muddy right now.

34 at daybreak and light rain. Heavy rain now and supposed to continue off and on all day with a high of 40. I won't get anything done in the woods today, so for the next best thing I have a couple of logs loaded up to bring up to another FF member so we can meet for the first time. Maybe do a little property tour and see what he has tucked away in his 40 acres :). In a couple of weeks, maybe we can do it in reverse. Maybe I can pick up my splitter on the way home too.
Looking at my front lawn, the 2019 rice paddy looks in good shape for planting with 3-4 inches of standing water. I don't want to know what my skid road looks like, why ruin my morning? Hopefully tomorrow I can put the roof deck on my shed at the mill then get it tightened up. I am still planning on some shop days during the cold weather because I know it is coming. Not gonna let theses mild temps fool me again.
