St Patrick's day meal

 poor picture, but getting an early start on St Patty's day. Reubens- the usuals, marble rye, corned beef, heavy kraut, Swiss, thousand island.

Corned beef and Irish soda bread.
When I could eat bread.
I like rubens as well.
My grandmother on my Dads side was Irish. 
Lt 40 wide with 38hp gas and command controls Riehl Steel edger,F350 4x4 dump and lot of contracting tools

Ill be pulling my brisket/corned beef outa the brine in a few hours. Got the taters, cabbage, carrots, and corn all ready to go.

A Reuben sandwich is one of my favorites but it has to be good corned beef, none of this canned stuff. Just out of curiosity, what is it's connection to the Irish? I thought it was German.

Hmm good question sawguy. Just been our tradition for past ten years maybe. I thought corned beef and cabbage was Irish thing. 🤔
Well quick search says possibly American sandwich, that's part Swiss-cheese, Russian-dressing, Irish- beef, German-kraut??

I corned 2, 15 pound briskets last week. Yesterday one went into the pressure cooker and the other the smoker and became pastrami.
