So what are your thoughts on an Echo 501p seems like a nice light weight saw. what do you think . thanks   Randy

Not familiar with that particular model, but I've been very happy with all my echo gear(2511t, cs400, srm410u brushcutter). The X series is supposed to be the best they make. About $100 cheaper than a Stihl ms261.
