Need help Indentifing tree

We have a nice specimen on our property and just can't find out what it is. Very tall at about 50-75'. Broad leaf with 1-3 points. Late foliage, just came in within the last month or so. Bean like sprouts. My Audubon guide puts it closely to a Northern Catalpa but we've never had flowers like the ones pictured in the book. Diameter at the base is about 20".

I would say catalpa is right.  Not sure which one.  Maybe it doesn't flower that far north.  I've noticed a lot of catalpa around here in the last few years.  I was just pointing them out to my wife today.  They are not listed as being native to this part of Missouri.

I don't know of anything else with that long stringy bean pod that shows in the 2nd picture.
