Just found the latest on the new .325 Pro series guide bar and chain from Finland.
Will be available on all new MS261 & MS271 at the start of 2020.

Excellent news my friend, I'm glad I decided to hold off on the WP from that dealer we don't use.
So it looks like a 9 tooth sprocket nose, which would be nice on the plunge cuts. Just to refresh, the NK chain would be only is a full chisel and not in a semi chisel version?
Thanks for tracking this down, and looking forward to 2020 availability.

Reddawg, the chain is available in both semi chisel and chisel.
The 23Pro chain is already available in North America (Canada at the moment,  the US very soon)
So we now have part #'s and information on the bar and will be along soon too.

use stump vise to sharpen the chain.

Seen lots of this chain in stock in Espanola, Ontario.
Thinking of trying some on a NE346XP with a new Husky NK 16"bar and maybe a 8 pin drive.

I use 63PS on a stihl 241 with a 16" bar with a 7 pin drive and it is great for my use, I am thinking this new chain will make the 346 run better than it is now with 325 LPX.

I cut mostly hardwood for firewood 14" or less.

I am new to this form- lots of great info.  Thanks guys.

This chain is 0.150" across.  With about 0.2" tie strap height. (measured some today)
It looks like a .325" version of the 3/8 63PS (Picco).
It should run great on a Oregon Narrow Kerf bar.

Can anyone help with sourcing some of this new chain and a bar to go with it?  I want an MS261 CM, and would like to buy it with the saw if available or just buy the powerhead and get my own bar and chain loops.  We are kind of short of knowledgeable pro saw shops (at least that I want to deal with) in this area of South Central Virginia.  My current preferred Stihl dealer carries NO yellow label cutting products.

Maybe this narrow kerf chain has reached us yet...

TIA, Rick

@Magicman is a good guy that performs magic with his saw and wit. Maybe he will respond to you.

Oh no Sir no apology please.  I was having fun and all of my comments were made in jest.

I am normally found on the Sawmilling, General, and Food boards.  I am only a "user" when it comes to chainsaws, even though I do own 4 Stihls.
