Hello!
« on: August 27, 2019, 04:45:35 PM »
Hi guys (and gals),
I'm brand new to the forum and thought I'd just say 'hi' to everybody.

I stumbled across the forum while researching a small 14x14 project I've been dreaming about.    I'm a long time wood worker but new to the timber framing.   Lots of reading to do first but perhaps there'll be a question or two in the future.

Anyway, thanks for all the information I've read so far.
Kind regards,
-mike

Welcome Mike.  Lots of good people on this forum.

If you edit your profile, you can put in where you are from and it will show up in each post.  That really helps when you have questions.  Knowing where your from, we will know the weather, trees available, etc, which helps tailor answers.

Also, we all love pictures or videos.  The saying around here goes "If no pics, it didn't happen".  You have to upload pics to your forestryforum album and then add photo to your post.  Also, there are no dumb question other than the ones not asked.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

Thanks for the pointer!
With any luck this reply should have location info (etc).
