Very nice. Unfortunately the red will really be muted in short order. The color just doesn't last. Most woodturners these days air brush on a red dye over the natural red so it will last. Gave my son a wonderful bright red ink pen, I wouldn't even call it pink now.

Yes sir I know it will lose its color over time.  But it is pretty wood and it is amazing the colors that box elder has. I can turn wood but airbrushing would be a  total lost for me
