Keeping it, Woodmizer Super Hydraulic LT40 with diesel 1350 hrs
« on: November 18, 2019, 11:50:00 AM »
Hi, I have made the difficult decision to sell my well maintained LT40 Super Hydraulic sawmill with the Lombardini 40 hp turbodiesel engine that runs great.  This mill was the top of the line in 1998 and has every option.  Autoclutch, debarker, lubemizer, (original setworks, not working).  I have spare parts, new and used blades that I will include.  The mill is located in Salters, South Carolina.  About an hour from Charleston, SC.

Asking $19,900 firm.  A brand new mill just like it with same options and 35 hp diesel engine is $45,000 or more right now.

Is this mill still available?  If so, when was the mill last used?  Do you know if the original set works can be fixed/repaired or replaced with simpleset setworks or the accuset2?

@WJones the mill is available.  The mill was last used in March 2019.  Original setworks cannot be fixed by Woodmizer, I understand the parts are no longer available.  Periodically, I have seen people sell parts for the setworks.  Accuset 2 can be installed.  I was told simpleset cannot be installed, not sure why.  Pm me your number and I can text some photos.
Thanks,
James

Even adding the cost of a new AccuSet2, that is still a good buy.  I have the same sawmill and I would not sell mine for that.

@WJones and @cbader I apologize, I have been away from where the mill is located.  I thought I would have time to get pictures but have not.  They are coming.
Thank you,
James

Since I have been unable to get up to where the mill is parked.  I added photos from job last spring.  I cut 27 2x7.5s trailer decking from one very large red oak log.  Turbo 7s cut great.
Thanks,
James
