Nice pics, and good job on the muffler mod.  The muffler and a little timing advance will wake these saws up.  You can advance the timing a few degrees by filing the flywheel key, but make sure it's on the side to advance the flywheel towards the counter-clockwise rotation.

I did this with my 039, and it runs about even with the 036 Pro that I had.

Finally got a chance to put some wood to this saw. Just old standing dead about 8-12" in or so. Figured it would be a good break in workout for the fresh motor. Saw worked well, but could definitely use some fine tuning on the carb settings after it's got some run time.

Set the high speed an extra quarter turn to compensate for the muffler mod and make sure I don't melt it down while I'm breaking it in. Once it's broke in I'll put a tach on it and set it proper, just didn't want to let it spin free at WOT with fresh rings. Also got the old bravo out for a workout!
