I read HolmenTree's post on this new chain on this form sometime ago.

I was looking for something that would suit my 346XP(50cc/16"/7pin) better that the chain that it came with - H30 (Oregon 95VPX) or the H23 (Oregon 325LPX) that I used up to now. (never liked the NK Oregon)

I purchased a new Husky X force 325NK bar (16") and a new 8 pin Oregon rim before fitting the saw with this new chain.  66DL is not long enough with the 8 pin, I had to have the new chain made up 67DL.

The weather is not the best right now to give it a real test.  But I did get out and did a little work yesterday and today.  All indication is this is going to be a great chain - far better than what I was using.

With the 325LPX the 346 ran about the same as my Stihl 241 (43cc)(16"x 7pin) running 63PS (3/8 Low Profile), now the Husky cuts far faster than the 241 Stihl as it should!

Not sure why Stihl calls it RSPro instead of Narrow Kerf 325, even the dealers here do not know what it is they are selling?  (it sits perfect on the NK bar, the chain is 0.150" wide and the bar with paint is 0.152", runs perfect on the Oregon rim).

I Hope this chain becomes available in US soon as it is great on saws this size it seems.

Waiting on placing an order for a 261C-M, as soon as they get the bar, and this chain figured out.

I see now on the Canadian web site the following models now come standard with the 325RSP chain.
271, 291CBE, 251, 251CBE, 250.

The 261 is on sale now for $650CDN, and $780CDN with heated handles and carb. (these still have the 325RS set up).  They are likely moving them for the new bar chain set up to come.  Very good price if I needed one.

In the Southern part of Texas, the Stihl dealers have no idea about the 325 NK setup on the 261cm. It's too bad that Stihl USA doesn't make their dealers aware of b/c combinations that really will make their saws perform better. If it's not in the catalog then the counter guys just look at you and shrug . Even with Holmen's detailed information they still give the canned answer of " I don't know, maybe later this year"
When the "right " Stihl NK setup is available then it's time to get the 261, till then it's better to hold off.
