smart phone stabilizer

Anybody tell me what to avoid in choosing a stabilizer for shooting videos with a smartphone.I'm talking handheld and cheap.You guys like to be entertained,so save me a little embarrassment.
A zhiyun smooth-q3 looks like a possibility..but I'm new to this.

Not familiar with that model, but it's pretty affordable.  There's a wide range of prices and capabilities available depending on how "pro" you want to go.  There's also some DIY stuff you can throw together quickly for just a couple bucks that may be with experimenting with.  Google will turn up a lot of stuff if you search for something like "DIY smartphone stabilizer".  One example:

I fooled around a bit with some of the DIY stuff to use with the GoPro and it did what I needed at the time without spending any real time or money.  Just depends on what you need and how much you'll be using it.  It'll be interesting to see how you make out with this.

Yes I did buy the Zhiyun Smooth-Q gimbal.Bought a new one off ebay for $56.00.I haven't had time to do a video,but it is well made and simple.
Thanks for your interest,I have plans to do a video of my logging winch in action,need to practice a little before I  make a fool of myself. ;)

Camarata doesn't use his cell phone that I have noticed but is more go pro.  He does do a good job in his videos. I happen to check his channel on a regular basis.
