Sawblades sharpened
« on: February 05, 2020, 03:13:17 PM »
WM has discontinued resharpening blades in MO so now I have to send my blades to IN to get them sharpened which makes the postage much higher. Does anyone know a quality sharpener that can do my blades closer to me? Im in NW Arkansas.

Yeah, I just sent my blades down the road an hour ago with UPS headed to Indiana.  I asked resharp in Indi what happened to the place in Mo and he didnít know.  Being near St Louis it may not be much of a price difference for me.  I believe there is a St Louis based shop that will do my blades.  Iím gonna check it out after I use the two labels they sent me.

They are still selling and maybe servicing mills, but not doing resharp any longer.

Don't now if this is a complete list but WM doesn't show many to choose from.

I went to a sawmill event in Mississippi last year and met Tim & Kim Hobby.  They are a Wood-Mizer authorized sales center in Louisville MS.

They told me they have a blade sharping service at their place.  May be closer (cheaper shipping) than Indy.
