chemotherapy copay assistance
« on: February 07, 2020, 07:45:01 PM »
For anyone that may need some financial assistance with chemotherapy costs There are two programs that may be of help to you. The first is Cancer care.org . You can apply online and have some paperwork to fill out and you have to have insurance as this is just for copay assistance. You also have to submit your most recent 1040. The second organization is PAN- patient access network. Similar requirements as cancer. org. I had a years worth of copay paid by cancer.org two years ago and have been awarded basically a years worth of copay by pan this year.. This also had to be done through a specialty pharmacy. There are a few parameters as it has to be used within a certain time frame or you lose it. Visit their websites and ask your oncologist nurse if they are aware of them.

You can also work with the supplier. I get my chemo med from Celgenes at the beginning of the yr we called them and got on the list to receive the med for $25. Going thru our ins we would have had to pay full price until the co-pay kicked in.
