The first portion of the video shows the logging and milling aspects.  Man, I cringed when I watched those big logs being drug through the mud!

Wow that is an amazing video Scsmith.To see how many people it took to build the planes and the enormous number of process it took.And to think this was going on all over the country 100 years ago.

Very interesting process.  I think the scariest part was the two guys, one on each side of the prop, straining to running it back and forth on an unguarded shaper head.    :o

Also watched a few other utubes that followed about air craft.  Neat stuff.

Wow incredible video, I had no idea this process was documented over 100 years ago, thanks for sharing!  As a retired AF member and general aviation pilot I really enjoyed watching the extensive manufacturing process of early generation aircraft!
