Sometimes the factory is just a ship, Get logs in Maine go out 200+ miles make doors come back to the big box stores. Never make it to China.

Yup, and the ship could be US owned. I think the flag they fly has been a valid 'where from' used since 100 years ago during prohibition. Business calls it 'flag of convenience". Google it and you can probably dig up lots of stuff. Like all kinds of poverty wages paid on them boats, some live there. Change the flag and your all the sudden from somewhere else. :D There have been a few reports in the news about going after the US owners for certain violations and it is hard to trace a lot of them. I'm sure lots of other violators, but over here we tend to here about our own because they are suppose to be held at a higher standard with the news media. :D
