Posting an ad for a log skidder
« on: March 14, 2020, 04:51:09 PM »
My name is Dick Strenkowski.  My father John Strenkowski (UN hooker) was a member of The Forestry Forum, and passed away back in September.  Due to his medical expenses we have emailed Jeff Brokaw for permission to sell his log skidder on this site.  Jeff has kindly given us permission to do that and agreed to waive any commissions.   We "HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF POSTING AN AD ON THE FORESTRY FORUM OR THE AD WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTICE." Please contact 860-617-9913 or if you have any questions. Thank you very much for all of your help.
FOR SALE:  Tree Farmer C5C Log Skidder - Disassembled and painted, replaced anything that needed replacing - gears, bearings, seals, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic pump, universals etc.  Went through the entire machine, top to bottom and front to back.  Very straight machine. 353 Detroit. $19,500. Please contact 860-617-9913 if you have any questions.

Sorry to hear of his death.
I remember him as the one that built a steerable wood splitter.

Sorry for your loss. My dad has been gone a couple of years now and I'm sorry to say it doesn't get any easier.
That skidder is beautiful!
