Took some pic's for you this evening. Some are clutch applied and some released also some of the linkages. Sorry for the long reply but I've been in the bush and out of cell service.

 

 

 

 

 

The clutch is an over center design ( snap clutch ) center in for application and out for release. Is that air cylinders you have on that for controls? Looks like a good idea to control from the cab. Hope this helps.

It had a fordson 4cyl diesel it now has a hino 175hp 4cyl diesel 
How is that Hino motor to work on and run?

Thanks bush mechanic looks like I have mine set up right just having issues setting the tension to freespool and not slip . Yes I have the winch on/off and freespool on air cylinders as I kept the air system from the doner truck with a smaller tank fitted under the winch makes operation of the winch a lot more user friendly from inside the cab

So far it has been faultless starts easy plenty of low down power and parts are plentiful here in Australia
