Big old planer
« on: May 24, 2020, 12:57:40 PM »
I've read and understand the terms and conditions of selling items on the Forestry Forum.
It's a Baxter Whitney planer.  Everything turns freely, has a square head, no belts.  The piece in the bottom is broken but easily welded.  I looked up the serial # once upon a time and it's a 1904 as I recall.  I was told it was originally in Michigan Maple Block in Petoskey.  Have no interest in it anymore.  Make a reasonable offer.  I can load.

Whats the size of the planner bed? Widest board that can go thru?
