My weapon of choice right now is a medium sized bowl of water with a small amount of dawn dish soap in it.


 Japanese Beatles are the victims.  They don't last a minute in the soapy water.  Put the bowl under them an most of the time just bump the leaf they are feasting or "whatever" on and their reflex is to drop to the ground.  Mistake.  Banjo
