Stihl 044 random wire
« on: July 17, 2020, 04:14:28 PM »
Took the carburator out of my old trusty Stihl 044, and by the time I located a carb kit and got back around to it multiple months has passed and there is a random wire that I have no idea where it goes, looked at an 044 magnum manual online and couldnt see any similar wire, my saw is not a magnum saw.  It is an arctic saw and has heated hand grips and a heater for the carburator that you can see in the picture but that all seems connected. Any help appreciated.

The kill wire I believe is the white and green wire on the right hand side of the saw.  On my 290 the kill wire is atached to the on/off/choke lever on that side.
