Chrisrr, great info!
Don P, I really enjoy the technical reading! Great stuff!

My neighbor did not get the big pine down yet.

I did manage cutting a 16'4" pine log. Might get 16'5" if I try hard and touch base of log with blade on setup.

Slabbed a fallen oak into 3" slabs for campfire benches. Had to unload with tractor as the slabs were too heavy to manhandle.

Trying to do the shed cover cheaply as possible, nothing fancy, just want to be able to leave mill out for a few days and not worry about rain. Concrete piers with steel standoffs and roofing metal are all I'm planning to buy. No snow load to worry about. If I ever decide to mill longer than 16' I'll add extensions and set mill under the pine trees.

Thanks again for the inputs, enjoying them all!
