Wondering what this species is? Not common in New Hampshire.

Leaves resemble black gum but the bark doesnt seem blocky enough to be the type i encounter in TN. Black gum should have small green berries now or soon to come. Look like peas.

   Do you find big, pretty, white, lemon scented flowers in the early Spring time? Are the leaves 8-12 inches long or maybe bigger? It sure looks like it to me.
