woodland Jumping Mouse
« on: September 06, 2020, 11:49:21 PM »

Today, my neighbor showed me 2 mice that he found in his swimming pool. I had to look it up to figure out what they are and I thought I knew all the animals around here. Many years ago I may have seen them before, but that was a long time ago. As a kid on my Dad's farm in the 1960s we would see meadow jumping mice in the hayfields, but it has been a very long time since I last saw any of them.

My thanks to whoever deleted the duplicate photos; someday I will get this photo posting thing right.

I discovered those a few years ago when something was attacking my garden ( which was out in the woods). I'd been going crazy trying to figure out what I was dealing with and left a sticky trap out.
