The noise and recoil from that .270 must be quite challenging. I have a Sound Moderator fitted to mine. It tames the recoil and makes quite a difference to the decibels.
Are you allowed moderators in the USA?
In GB they are treated as a separate item on your Firearms Certificate, but
if you site “health and safety” (noise damage) on your application it is quite easy to get permission.

Here we have to pass a background check and have to pay a $200.00 "tax". When you get approval you can pick up your suppressor. While I would like one, I refuse to jump through government hoops. Some localities and state game departments refuse us the right to own one.
