You all were talking about handling slabs a few subjects back.
Here is a short vid of how I do it. I work alone most of the time
Slab wood rolls on the forks, boards that need edging go on the saw horses.
The I slide the whole stack of finished boards off the mill onto the forks.

This was a humanitarian effort to help a widow lady with a leaking roof and the 2X4's will be lathing.

Both, those are 18' boards on a 12' trailer.

Finally getting some hemlock in . I need it bad the orders are stacking up . Have some spruce on the way as well .
I'm going to get a sharpener and setter as well . Calling tomorrow to see what availability is . I hardly leave my property anymore so it's time to do it myself . Plus the shipping is outrageous . 
Smiley was happy to see Dan the log trucker and gave the load a good look over for chimpmonks .

I moved to a 22 Oak and SYP log job this morning.  Well 22 skidded out but I see at least that many more lurking just outside of the fence.


 
And I guess that I set an all time weight record for me.  The toolbox shows is 20' Red Oak log weighed 6283 pounds, and it took the loader, log clamp, and the JD to load it.  This was the first time that I have had tractor help.  


 
But the log lost.  ;D   It's twin also lost but no picture of it.
