Heat warning here. Although I'm not sure it looks overcast here. Is warm but won't get super bad until sun breaks through.

With no shade 10 AM is as long as I can go when the heat index is over 100.  No board is worth getting sick.

The mist and fog kept it from getting in the 90's here. At 3:00 pm it was 82F on the porch. This morning it is 74F on the porch, so I expect about 95 today. :D

I can't make it much further than that either. Probably more like 90 in open sun. Drenched and clothes stick to you, sweat in eyes, getting big breaths of 2 stroke smoke... yeah all that makes me nauseous. I'm not made for heat

What a scorcher it was today, frequent breaks, still managed to get a bit done though. Was 90, still 85, once that sun goes down should fall fast

We are down to 62° at 9pm!! Started out cool, than a small shower, kinda warm, than a BIG shower came in around 2 pm that cooled things off for the rest of the day.
I am digging rocks and leveling about a 100 foot square area. That is a queasy mud hole!!!!

I know there is a lot of summer still to come, but I can't help but think of fall as I sit out on my deck this morning drinking coffee.  It's 56 deg this morning.  We've had several days of lower 80's and I love it.  Later this week it will push back to around 90, but still, fall is coming.

We got a full 2" of rain overnight. Came down like crazy and so hard it woke me up. The mill I am working at is going to be surrounded by a lake today. Hopefully the slab it's on is high enough, but I am not so sure.

No rain here now for 2 weeks, and very little week before. Watered the garden Sunday from the creek, 150 gallons. I can see the grass starting to die in places. It's been hotter and dryer this month than July. The hurricane rain is all going south of here, might get a thunder shower but the weather man didn't give it high probability. :D
