The flow control valve on my 1966 C5b tree farmer has been welded by the previous owner. It's leaking and I don't exactly understand how to bypass it.  It is a valve that prioritizes steering over the blade right along side the motor next to the frame.  I have contacted Davco and they have looked but are unable to source one. This is a photo of what I need. Does anyone know what brand of valve or a suggestion where I could get

Im not seeing the picture.

Is it a flow control or a priority valve? aka divider valve.

A flow control slows things, either its wide open or cranked down.  A priority or divider valve splits flows into two parts.
And theyre not set in stone.. Only one is.

Say youve got a 18gpm flow into a 4gpm priority valve.  It will prioritize the minimum flow (4gpm) to one port, lets call it port 1..  and all excess to the other, port 2.  If youve got 3gpm at idle its all going to port 1 and none to port 2 Anything over the 4gpm will flow to port 2.
