I prefer working with hand tools, even having them made up. The convenience of internet commerce has some attraction though so I'd be interest to know what are worthwhile sources.

I just went ahead and got a couple of brush axes anyway from Hida in California. Nowhere did I see yet a sufficient pickaroon.
