I really like the new setter!  its amazing how quickly it can set a band..  a question I have for you guys that have one of these...  what is the trick for placing the band into the setter?  it seems difficult to get the band into position with the springs and the small area to slide the band down into the setter.  granted.. I have only set a few bands with this so far, but placing the band into the setter seems to be a bit tricky..  the adjustments are super easy and the setter dials has a very nice initial pause showing the pre-set, overset and new set which I know some of you had a hard time seeing.  Luckily I don't see the need to shim this one.

thanks for any advice!

Use the manual setting to advance the setter to where it is open at the widest. This is about when the pusher is just beginning to retract.

Swing the pusher up out of the way.  Put the band starting between the anvil/setter opening.  Recognize it's being hung up only by those two spring loaded bolts and wiggle it in front of those.   Then it helps to put the blade between the plastic guides on either side before you push it down all the way onto the posts.
