Ah, yes a solution. I had the solution as I told ya, and I drove home.  Now the wire is in place where it is suppose to be, with help from my screw driver in the shop. :wink_2:

I remember a couple times I thought I would have some spare nuts and bolts for the clearing saw. One for the blade, has Teflon on the threads like a lock nut. The other for the handle bars. I have 3 spare blade nuts and 2 spare handle bar bolts. Never needed them in years. But hey, I got'm.  ffcheesy  I do have a lot of other type of bolts for the saw that I use now and again, I just strip old worn out saws. They want a fortune for a 48 cent item.  ffcheesy  I should at least throw a small set of tools in the glove compartment or maybe attach a small hard case to hold a few tools that might be handy. There was a day when bikes came with a tool bag and tools from the factory. Them days are past us.  :wink_2:

I did get a set of tools ordered, be here end of the week. Screw driver, plyers, wrenches and a tough water proof case. I think the tools are made on this continent, I'll see what the packaging says when they arrive.

Worked several hours today getting the last of my blocks split up. Should sleep good tonight. Hickory and beech. Neither split easily.

Bill, a good feeling to have it done however it seems firewood is never completely done. Beech and hickory for sure are not easy splitters and you can throw black birch in with that group and I won't even mention elm.

Surprise ya where a buggy will go. And yeah probably not many rayrock 's. My land is relatively flat, but not smooth. The buggy will crawl over the dips and bumps, but not fast. ffcheesy

I know them "buggys" will go places,  rayrock stumps and holes.
But was wondering about how the wood was stacked in the back.
I would loose about half that coming out of the woods here. unless I put the straps or chains to it to hold it in.

Yeah, I hear ya. I'd never stack it that high and think I was getting home with it all. Plus mine is split when I hall, not round. I haul around ~13 cu feet a load, takes 10 load a cord. That way I get either out to the truck or home with everything still on.  Some of our roads are not all that smooth either, like the Royalton Road. They have not repaved for a good 30 years on most rural roads.  ffcheesy ffcheesy ffwave
