Alec's, I'll check my HM130max clutch pulley distance in the morning and report back.

Are you throttling the valve on the bottom of the lube tank? Wide open is too much, 3 to 4 turns works well for hardwoods.

Elongate the motor mount holes and line that puppy up.
2019 LT15G25WIDE, 2013 LT35HDG25, Stihl MS880 with 59" bar with Alaskan sawmill attachment.  John Deere 5045 tractor with forks, bucket and grapple.  Many chainsaws.

    I second booman's suggestion about lining up the pulleys. Anytime a band or belt is riding on 3 pulleys they must be in perfect alignment. Don't see how you sawed as much as you did with no problem unless the new belt with crisp corners kept it in the groove and then when they rounded a little it allowed the belt to roll out. Just my observation.
