Jake I have used an RF kiln quite a bit in the past. I was never impressed . They burned a big pine log twice on me. Explain that to the customer.....
Aqua Timber here in Canada now builds them. So made in North America.
RF (Radio Frequency)(microwave)  Kilns use total vacuum.
They dry big Timbers well  in my opinion.  They load and stack the wood with metal plates between the x amount of rows. Micro waves are bounced between the metal plates heating the wood to boil the water out. They then have a hydraulic press that clamps all the wood.  Gaps between slabs of wood are stuffed with sawdust or chips. Knots catch fire as they heat up too fast. Nails or hardware tend to overheat and then the wood catch fire.
IDRY Turbo Plus has kiln that uses aluminum plates between the rows. It is not RF but actually They heat the plates to boil the wood out of the wood. They also have a stacking machine for their kiln. solves your stacking issues. Check it out.
