Update on the yoga floor, just wow!

Making slow progress on the project excavation/ make more flat ground. been busy with customers orders, finished a big a.. TyG order for a Canadian client, ready for pick up.

Finally got to se my customers house build where this order will replace the first colossal mess up from the builder, they put up cheap lumber, different species, termite candy wood with insect holes already included. Lets just say that the customer is more than happy that he found me and we could turn his house into a real beautiful build.

that was the first lumber, not dried so it turned black up there, and let me tell you. that was colossal work to undo all ceilings and install my teak. ceiling height up to 34', room heights up to 18', look at the doors!

they still managed to f.. up and put some boards with the sapwood side towards the room


and then the client told me: "i almost payed the same amount for the first lumber than for your teak"
Me:   "so i'm selling way too cheap!"
He smiles: "yes, but don't raise my prices"
Me: "i won't"

Wow! That floor fits perfect with the open size of the room, and the whole "statement piece" look of the design & build. Teak walls, ceiling, and doors look great too!
(Only thing I'd change is that black toilet...)

Good to do right by your customer, they know your taking care of them, and not just in it for the money. Happy customers become repeat customers, and send their friends.

Just to clarify, the first post is from a different client, swiss client, yoga studio with premium A+ floor and black toilet  . the rafters look like teak but they are steel square tubing painted like teak. only the floor came from me.

the next two posts are from a Canadian client, the one with the flying pool, i only deliver the tyg for ceiling and some walls. the rest of the construction has tons of faults and bad craftsman's ship. look at that big door, way cheap product, looked like it was too short and they added a piece on the bottom, looks like sh....
i did bring a young german master builder who is new in CR (looking for work) with me to see the house and the Canadian hired him on the spot. so he is doing a 300 issues punchlist and gets payed by the hour. he will be the builders nightmare. then the Canadian told him, after you finish my house i pass you to the neighbor and then you charge twice the hour rate, your way too cheap. its a different world!

so now the German and i have a good relationship and work together, and it seems that we will get passed along among this millionaires condo building site, its a big hill with 100 house lots   

the German is probably getting me a nice payed panel contract for a hotel renovation which he works on also. waiting on confirmation.

Too bad about the bad workmanship,
I'm happy you got to help the client out on that, It sounds like the word of mouth advertising will get you a lot of business
