Meeting a FF member plus a bit of Sawing

We can throw a log on the mill and saw it plus lunch will be on me.

Wes (member RetiredTech) and his wife made the trip to my place this morning so after some visiting we threw a couple of really bad ERC logs on the sawmill.

No pictures of the lumber because it was really bad logs and no pictures of the Catfish or Shrimp because we ate it all.  We had a wonderful visit.  ;D

I would like to meet some of the FF members sometime.Seems like people around here with the same interests as me are pretty rare.My wife's health problems pretty well keep me tied to the house so this is the next best thing.

  Meeting Magic and Mrs. Magic was great. They're good people you instantly feel comfortable around. I've been working on my mill for over a year now. This was the first time I've seen a mill in person. Until now it's just been pictures and youtube. It's a lot different when you can actually see something up close and watch it work. We learned some dos and don'ts, and at the end of the visit we left with a little bit of magic for our mill.
