The older Eatons are difficult to ID properly, because they did not always use riveted tags, unlike Rockwell. Eaton did not commence using tags until May 1987, and even then, not all axles had tags. In November 1996, Eaton standardised on tag use and code ID layout.

Cast-in numbers or letters are usually useless for ID, they are for foundry and internal company use.  Prior to February 1982, the date of manufacture of Eaton diffs is stamped into the diff carrier with either 4 or 5 digit numbers.

The early axles are identified by specification, by numbers/letters stamped into the RHS axle arm. This is a 7 digit series of numbers and letters. The specification is 1 letter ("S"), followed by 5 numbers, followed by 1 letter ("A", "B", "C" or "D").

A round-section axle housing tube indicates an early Eaton axle, prior to about 1972, when Eaton axles were produced by Eaton Corp, not by Dana Corp. From around about 1972, Eaton started to use square-section tube in the axles, making them look similar to Rockwell axles.

You might try searching for the specs for the skidder itself.  Sometimes it lists the axle type.

Those are WR series axles, I would say either WR3 or WR5.

I'm looking to get a service manual for it. I've come across two possible matches on johndeeretechinfo.com with serial number 354132. Mine is a grapple btw.
Its either:  350HPAX SKIDDER (JUN 83 - APR 87) serial# 354001 - 357205
or
                  350APEAX SKIDDER (AUG 83 - OCT 86) serial#  351365 - 356341

Any help would be appreciated.

none of those codes fully match the engineering code system in my timberjack manuals
the first one is a gm with a power shift
second is a deutz with a power shift
wr3 axles came in standard, narrow, narrow with diff lock or no spin
