Yes, to all of my Forestry Forum Family, Happy Thanksgiving.  I have been helping PatD all day today preparing for tomorrow's meal.  Yes, we are truly Blessed.

I met a customer today and we agreed on a potential sawing date next year.  About 40 nice fresh felled SYP logs for framing lumber for a new home.  I have one for January and now one for March.  The sawing blessing continues.

A snowy morning her, now changed over to rain at our house, we'll see what it is higher up at my Daughter's in a few hours. Probably all snow further west and higher up. Just ran out for milk and the roads are a mess, needed 4wd to get out of that parking lot.
Hoping all my FF friends have a great day regardless of your local conditions! :rifle: food3

Happy Thanksgiving guys. May you all have a safe and meaningful holiday.   And may you eat till your pants don't fit.

I was out for the traditional Thanksgiving squirrel hunt with my son and son in law this morning.  Then we had a big family breakfast at my daughters new house which is my old house on the farm.
Now I'm home kinda helping Mrs Lapp prepare the big meal and kinda getting in the way.  Think Ill go walk the dog.
Enjoy the day boy's.

I saw the flyer for the store, they was $CDN1.69 there. A 10 lber would be about $17. Them same turkeys would be $50 a pop otherwise. I've seen some 18 lb'ers for $90 before. Talk about expensive meat.  ffcheesy The best price I've seen here was $CDN0.99 a pound and that was 8 years ago Christmas eve sale. I usually just buy a piece of breast meat, enough for 2, and they are pricey themselves about $CDN12. Can only get them on holiday season. No one up here could raise turkey for $0.39/lb, not even close. :D
